Ashe County selects Everbridge as their new emergency notification provider

Everbridge, the world’s recognized leader in emergency and incident notification solutions, announced that Ashe County has selected Everbridge to offer emergency and incident notification alerts to its residents. The county is using Everbridge to replace its previous CodeRED system. The Everbridge Aware system is a welcome change to Ashe Country, North Carolina, whose previous system “did not have all the features that the county wanted to use for its all-call alerts and was a bit cumbersome” said Patty Gambill, Emergency Management Coordinator.

The new Everbridge Aware system enables officials to provide essential information quickly when there is a threat to the health or safety of Ashe County residents. It is designed to handle all types of events and has industry leading features, controls, and interactivity. Recently Everbridge announced a 200% capacity increase, allowing its system to scale to any size event, local, regional or even global. Additionally, if there is ever a power or network failure, Everbridge systems can be accessed via mobile devices and networks, giving administrators around-the-clock access when they need it most.
