Everbridge customer user group spotlights the security agenda

The historic offices, above Victoria Station, of the Telegraph Media Group were the venue for the latest Everbridge EMEA customer event held last week.

With a view of the Daily Telegraph newsroom below, more than 50 customers shared experiences and heard from leading experts on the nature of risk for business communities.

Steve Swain, a former Chief Superintendent in the Metropolitan Police and head of the Police International Counter Terrorism Unit highlighted many of the key issues that businesses need to consider in an increasingly uncertain world.

Steve was followed by Kathryn Holloway of Press Alert. Kathryn is a former breakfast television presenter and reporter and was the first journalist on the scene of the Lockerbie plane bombing in 1988.  Kathryn outlined to the audience of Everbridge customers some of the challenges that companies face dealing with the media in a crisis.

Following a short break, Imad Mouline, CTO of Everbridge, demonstrated many of the enhanced features and functionality in the new Everbridge Spring 2016 software release. Everbridge customers then got the opportunity to network over lunch and discuss their own use of the Everbridge platform and share ideas.

The Everbridge customer user group event enables customers to hear from experts in crisis management across a number of different disciplines, as well as showcasing new developments on the Everbridge platform.
