ServiceNow certified partner: The C-level need for IT alerting
We are happy to announce that Everbridge is now a certified ServiceNow partner and our connector is available in the ServiceNow Store. As again supported by the latest (Aug2015) Gartner Magic Quadrant for ITSM solutions, ServiceNow is the undisputed leader of the pack of Service Management solutions and therefore is at the heart of many new and maturing IT Service Management implementations worldwide.
Given the importance of IT today, the need to avoid outages and keep downtime to a minimum is more important than ever. There’s a heightened need for clear communications, and executive accountability, as recently described in CIO Insight: “CIOs have a responsibility to ensure that IT incident communication is a fluid process that resolves problems in the most efficient way possible.”
Our partnership with ServiceNow supports this fluidity in IT incident management and communications. Here’s why:
Is the whole greater than the sum of its parts?
Through our many conversations with major IT organizations across the globe, many of them ServiceNow customers, it is clear that the challenge of IT alerting is a universal one. There are of course quite a few tools, point solutions and homegrown solutions in place today that can help. However these self-developed, and often pieced together ‘solutions,’ not only fall short of an industry leading purpose-built IT communications platform, they also lack the required reliability, security, scalability and flexibility needed to limit and mitigate (hidden) costs.
Best of both worlds
Now that the Everbridge connector for ServiceNow is available in the ServiceNow Store, this opens up exciting doors for ServiceNow customers allowing you to connect the world’s leading (IT) Service Management solution into the world’s leading critical communications platform. The result can best be described as the best of both worlds: a fully flexible ServiceNow integration with zero need for coding that leverages the world’s leading critical communications platform.
Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?
