Everbridge Expands Communications Innovation With Two New Patents
Los Angeles, CA – May 31, 2012
Everbridge, a provider of leading incident notification and management solutions, announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted two new patents to the company. On April 3, 2012, patent 8,149,995 was granted for providing notifications using text-to-speech and on May 8, 2012 8,175,224 was granted for providing notifications using voice-to-text.
The two new patents add to two previous patents (7,664,233 on February 6, 2010 and 7,895,263 on February 22, 2011) that had been granted to Everbridge in the past two years. The patents all support technology advancements in communications and reflect the innovations that Everbridge has contributed to the communications industry in the areas of notification systems, geo-notification systems, text-to-speech and speech-to-text notifications.
