Everbridge Launches First Single System for Enterprise Critical Communications
Introduces Next Generation Incident Management, Best in Class Enterprise Capabilities, Mobility Enhancements, Secure Messaging, IPAWS/WEA, Hail & Lightning Alerts
Los Angeles, Calif. – Whether you are a multinational with employees in countries around the world, a healthcare network with a multitude of specialized care facilities or a large government organization, cutting through the noise and getting critical information to the right people at the right time has never been more difficult. To help solve this problem, Everbridge today announced the release of the Everbridge solutions suite, the first single system for enterprise critical communications. With this new release, Everbridge significantly strengthens its position as the only provider that can offer true enterprise communications for organizations who want to manage emergencies, mass notifications, incident communications, and situational intelligence on a single, global system.
Key highlights of the new release include:
New Incident Management Solution: The new Incident Management solution allows organizations to automate their communications processes according to preconfigured rules. All communications, incident notes, and responses are recorded with logging, confirmation tracking, and incident journaling to meet internal and external compliance requirements. By automating these processes, organizations are able to reduce human errors and improve the mean-time-to-resolution for critical response teams. Expanded Enterprise Capabilities: This release increases support for large, multi-faceted organizations that have complex communications with additional role-based access controls that offer the most options for configuring authorizations by user type. Also, new cross organizational capabilities empower authorized users with the ability to communicate across multiple organizations within a single account.
Increased Mobile Management and Communications Capabilities: Given the increasing mobility of workforces and the deeper penetration of mobile devices amongst individuals in general, Everbridge continues to enhance its advanced mobility features. This release adds a new mobile optimized website that allows any mobile device, regardless of operating system, to launch, manage, and analyze all communications. Also, interactive capabilities including new polling/quota features, additional online /offline file attachment types, and most importantly enhanced secure voice and messages capabilities have been added to the suite.
Additional Delivery Methods – IPAWS WEA: Additional contact methods are always important to ensure that targeted individuals get the right message at the right time. With the new release of Everbridge, clients are now able to reach recipients through more than 25 different contact paths including desktop alerts, web posting and the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). Also, with enhanced weather features, clients now have access to more than 150 national weather service location-specific weather alerts that can be configured for quiet periods.
“The new system is fantastic. What I really like about the Everbridge system is that I can communicate with our customers and get information back – or even accept unsolicited information from our customers,” said Aaron Bean, operations superintendent for Westfield Gas & Electric. “There may be situations that we are unaware of out in the field. There may be a service down or some trees that need trimming, and the customer can actually take a snapshot of that and send it to us at any time. Now, they’re actually helping us do our work. It really helps them and it helps us to serve them better and quicker.”
“We are giving organizations the most comprehensive and resilient system available for getting the right message to the right person at the right time – anywhere in the world,” said Imad Mouline, chief technology officer, Everbridge. “With Everbridge organizations can reduce the time it takes to get critical information to individuals, securely – anywhere around the world. Time can mean the difference between safety and harm, prevention and loss, and client loyalty and churn.”
