Glendale, Calif. – November 26th, 2012 – Everbridge, the leading provider of interactive communication and mass notification solutions, reported strong third quarter performance highlighted by the release of a new Mass Notification Suite and over 70 new customer wins. The results are driven by success in new customer wins in key areas of growth, launching new product offerings, and international expansion.
In the third quarter, Everbridge announced over 70 new clients and 140 renewed contracts, representing continued strong growth in its client base. This growth includes customer wins in key areas, including utilities, transportation, healthcare, state and local government. One key customer activation was the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), that successfully activated Everbridge to support the FDEM mission of ensuring that Florida is prepared to respond to emergencies, recover from them and mitigate against their impacts. The Everbridge system will also aid in the activation of Florida’s State Emergency Response Team (SERT) in preparation for and during a disaster. Already, Everbridge has significantly reduced the amount of time it takes FDEM to notify staff, state agency Emergency Coordinating Officers and other response partners when the State Emergency Operations Center is activated.
“Communication is a critical element in preparing for and responding to a disaster, and Everbridge provides a comprehensive and reliable platform to ensure all of Florida’s emergency managers are properly informed,” said FDEM Director Bryan W. Koon. “Florida’s recent experience with Everbridge during Tropical Storm Debby and Hurricane Isaac proved the system’s effectiveness.”
Everbridge also launched a first of its kind social and critical communications solutions suite that enables organizations to gather and evaluate real-time intelligence from social media as part of its communications strategy. The new solutions, Everbridge Mass Notification and Everbridge Interactive Visibility, provide organizations with a single, interactive communications console to not only monitor a situation and gather external intelligence using real-time social media, data feeds and updates from the field, but also effectively take action by sending notifications and fostering interaction with individuals or groups using lists, locations and visual intelligence such as geo-mapping.
After the successful launch of the new solutions suite, Everbridge announced the expansion of its international presence with a London, UK-based office serving the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) regions of the globe. With advanced international capabilities, the Everbridge solutions suite with Globally Local technology provides industry-leading interactive communication and mass notification solutions to organizations while meeting the specific needs of multinational users. In its effort to continuously innovate communication and incident management, Everbridge developed a unique approach to data protection and communication for internationally distributed environments, Globally Local. This new capability allows Everbridge multi-national clients to initiate communications where it makes the most sense, giving the appearance and cost-efficiency of a locally sourced message while offering the performance, resilience and connectivity of an enterprise solution while maintaining all standards for data protection compliance.
“We are pleased with the number of new customers that were added in the third quarter, as we feel that our strong customer growth underscores the value that our innovation strategy has brought to our solutions suite,” said Jaime Ellertson, chief executive officer, Everbridge. “This innovation strategy, as well as the opening of our EMEA headquarters in London reflects our commitment to our customers’ success in helping them meet their critical communications goals.”
