Integration guide

Licenses:

IBM license: IBM Resilient

Version 30 or higher

Everbridge license: Active IT Alerting standard or IT Alerting enterprise

Version: SaaS Annual Subscription (latest version).

Security:

  • IBM Resilient user account must have Master Administrator privileges
  • Everbridge user account with API Privileges
  • An API key is needed, but that will be generated when you perform the procedures in the iPaaS Configuration section of the Everbridge user guide under Documentation at https://manager.everbridge.net/login

Deployment

IBM Resilient requirements:

  • A location for the integration to be installed (it can be installed on the IBM Resilient appliance or on a standalone machine with network access to the appliance).
  • esilient-circuits version 30 or higher must be installed on this machine

Self-service configuration of IBM Resilient integration on the Everbridge platform, by an end user, is easy from the Settings -> Everbridge Open -> iPaaS tab of the Everbridge SaaS application. Click “New Agent”:

User can control the conditions under which IBM Resilient automatically triggers incident creation in Everbridge:

Everbridge incident and notification delivery details are available in IBM Resilient:
