Jones Lane LaSalle or JLL is a large global international company. We’re operating in over 80 countries for facility management and property management and investment services. We have a global workforce of over 100,000 employees.

So it was pertinent to me as the emergency manager that when I had to sit down and start evaluating tools and products from various service providers, I was only interested in evaluating those tools and products from service providers that could meet that global demand and meet that global need to be able to service.

The global footprint in which JLL operates and Everbridge turned out to be, one of the top notch competitors for those considerations. And it turned out that when those alerts caught my attention and I dwelled further into those alerts, I discovered that the fire actually was in a building in which we do operate. You know, we had employees on site, it was in the lobby area.

I was able to touch base with a local emergency response team lead within that area, just to be able to ensure that our employees were safe and that they were accounted for and any type of damages or whatnot were remediated. That to me speaks volumes.

As a seasoned emergency manager, resilience to me means being ready and realistic for the incoming, eminent or future incoming or evident incident, major disaster or even planned events.
[02:18.1]
So I am all for being a champion of any tools, process, products and services, especially those used by Everbridge. For the multiple years now I’ve been with jll, Jones Lane La Salle to increase that resilience posture and to help me be able to do my job within an efficient capacity within my infrastructure.
