Data subject access requests

Everbridge strongly believes in transparency and the protection of personal privacy. By responding to individual data subject access requests (DSARs), Everbridge complies with Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, which mandates the protection of natural persons in the Processing of Personal Data and governs the free movement of such data. Everbridge also complies with corresponding laws of the United Kingdom including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 (collectively, the GDPR), as well as with the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA, 2020) and similar regulations. Such regulations may newly come into force or be updated from time to time; if so, data subjects may expect Everbridge will comply with these.

Individuals desiring to exercise their rights should email DSAR@everbridge.com. While there is no required inquiry format, recognized DSAR topics may include any of the following:

  • Confirmation whether Everbridge processes your data
  • Request categories of personal data Everbridge processes concerning you
  • Request sources, purposes, recipients (third-party sharing), retention periods, and safeguards (including any international transfers) related to any of your personal data Everbridge processes
  • Request information about automated decision-making logic, significance, and consequences
  • Access or receive a copy of your personal data, including if desired in machine-readable format for portability
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Object to processing based upon legitimate interests
  • Restrict or limit processing
  • “Do not sell”
  • Withdraw consent to processing of your data
  • Exercise your right to be forgotten (delete your data)
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or cross-context behavior advertising
  • Opt out of profiling/automated decision making with legal or similarly significant effects
  • Appeal a denial of a privacy-rights request
  • Complain/request supervisory authority or attorney-general complaint information after denial
  • Non-discrimination/no retaliation for exercising rights
  • Authorized agent, parent/guardian, or representative request: may require further proof of identity and rights

In your email to DSAR@everbridge.com, provide only enough personal information for Everbridge to confirm your identity as compared to its records. Otherwise, to protect your privacy and comply with privacy regulations, before processing your DSAR, Everbridge may require additional proof of identity.
