We use that to monitor where associates are in line of weather events like severe weather that might be impacting them. And then we also utilize it for mass communications when it comes to notifying appropriate groups for incidents when we need to respond.

Everbridge and National Weather Service and NOAA alerts that you can get for associates that are in the line of severe weather, particularly tornadoes which are an increased threat within our footprint. Being able to send advanced warning notifications to associates both at their static locations at home but also their work loc and it notifies our physical security team whenever a tornado may have impacted one of our branches or facilities so that the right people can respond.

It’s also utilized at probably at least on a weekly basis to notify teams when we do have technology outages or disruptions to get teams together very quickly to respond. It can be faster than sometimes like city and local government sending alerts out even if they’re using the same system.

really interesting to look at. Diving deeper into different threats that show up on that map that it can alert you to in real time whether it’s a criminal activity or a wildfire. It’s interesting to see what might be impacting associates that are working maybe remotely in other parts of the country or might have road closures that affect them.

It’s a great tool to use the tiers of being able to send alerts to different groups to start small and then maybe you need more people to respond to an incident that’s very user friendly. Being able to pre draft and create templates ahead of time to be able to send out very quickly during an incident is very helpful.

The integration between like the business continuity tools that we use and the task lists within those so that we can have the same teams regardless of who’s on at any given time to be able to respond to incidents is very helpful. And now that’s integrating with Everbridge360.
