Leading Emergency Notification System Provider Continues Aggressive Customer Acquisition, Technology Prowess and Market Momentum

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 18, 2010 – Everbridge, the world’s recognized leader in incident notification systems, today announced that it continued to drive technology innovation, customer acquisition and communications expertise in 2009, solidifying the company’s leadership position within the sector. In addition, the company achieved an average annual growth rate of 130% over the last three years, a figure considerably higher than the industry average, which Gartner calculated at 29 percent for 2009.

“Our market was one of the fortunate industries that experienced growth over the last few tumultuous years, and we continued to outpace our competitors in revenue, market share and customer retention,” said Cinta Putra, CEO, Everbridge.  “We believe we contributed to this growth by further educating the public and private sectors about the need for emergency notification and successfully differentiating our value proposition.  Additionally, by collaborating with our customers, we continued to innovate and expand upon our existing technology and capabilities, raising the bar in the industry.”

Additionally in 2009, Everbridge led the market in technology innovation with the launch of its SmartGIS technology solution, the first interactive Web 2.0 platform for emergency notification that enables organizations to target communications to citizens based on preferences, special needs, geography and other criteria.

Everbridge milestones and achievements during 2009 include:
