The National Capital Region Selects Everbridge to Deliver Critical Communications and Emergency Notification

Glendale, CA, May 1, 2014 – Everbridge, the worldwide leader in Unified Critical Communications, has been selected by the National Capital Region (NCR) to deliver emergency notifications, situational intelligence, and critical communications across the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. NCR is a collection of jurisdictions, cities and counties across Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia that covers more than five million citizens. The jurisdictions will deploy Everbridge to extend their commitment to ensuring a safe and secure metropolitan region for all citizens, employees, organizations, and facilities.

NCR’s jurisdictions and homeland security partners will implement Everbridge’s Unified Critical Communication Suite on a coordinated schedule throughout 2014. The suite, which integrates GIS targeting, advanced mobility, two-way communication and automated weather, threat and social alerts in an intuitive, streamlined environment, will help ensure cross-region collaboration and communication during emergencies and other disruptive events.
