Everbridge in Gartner’s market guide for clinical communication and collaboration as a representative vendor
In a recent report by Gartner’s Barry Runyon, the analyst firm defined the market for clinical communication and collaboration as systems that are directed at clinicians to “enhance care team effectiveness and the patient experience.” To perform in the market, also according to Gartner, vendors need to provide mobile platforms that improve hospital operational efficiency, care quality and the patient experience. Everbridge was included as a representative vendor.
This definition should resonate with Everbridge customers as we provide healthcare organizations with a secure critical communications platform and a suite of applications to deliver complian care team collaboration that improves quality care. According to our customer, Brian F. Maquire of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, “Everbridge is a singular tool that we look to all the time anytime there needs to be an enterprise-wide mass communication. We go in there, we quite literally click one button, and we have a message going out to our entire staff.”
CHOP, according to Brian, also uses Everbridge for code team activation, on-call scheduling and leadership notifications, representing our role as a unified clinical communications and collaboration solution that improves workflows during critical and clinical situations— ultimately improving patient care.
As IT continues to “move from the back office the clinical workflows,” Evebridge is here to support the requirements of care teams as they communicate and collaborate during all types of clinical and operational events.
