Suma Nallapati serves as Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Digital Officer at Everbridge. In her role, Suma manages the global expansion and scale of Everbridge’s market-leading, software-as-a-service Critical Event Management (CEM) platform, delivering over 5 billion interactions on behalf of customers each year, and transforming how organizations respond to, and mitigate, digital and physical incidents impacting life safety, business continuity, supply chain, IT and cybersecurity.
An accomplished technology executive with more than 25 years of experience in establishing and leading value-driven global IT service strategy, operations and delivery, Suma won several awards during her career including CIO of the Year, Outstanding Women in Business, Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology, and as one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders.
Prior to Everbridge, Suma served as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer for direct-broadcast satellite leader DISH, where she led application delivery and digital strategy. Before DISH, Suma served as Secretary of Technology and CIO for the State of Colorado leading public sector digital transformation. Earlier in her career, Suma led the Service Delivery organization at Catholic Health Initiatives, one of the nation’s largest healthcare networks, and managed global enterprise applications for TeleTech, a customer experience technology and services leader. She earned a master’s degree in nuclear physics from Andhra University in India.
